Young Writers Conference 2010

Scottish Book Trust held the first ever Young Writers Conference on Saturday 13th November. The whole day was filled with advice from professional writers and industry insiders, as well as a performance and creative writing workshops from Jason Donald, Ella Hickson and Ryan Van Winkle. The conference was an excellent opportunity for young writers to meet like minded people as well as giving them lots of practical advice on how to get their work noticed by the people who matter.

We were delighted that Young Scot were able to come along on the day and film some of our young writers discussing the books they like to read and their thoughts on writing.
