Candyfloss - Jacqueline WilsonOn Floss’s birthday she has a choice to make.  Her mum’s new boyfriend, Steve, has just landed a new job in Australia.  Floss doesn’t know whether to go with her mum and Steve, or to stay home with her dad whom she only gets to see at the weekends.  She finally decides to stay with her dad, and they have several adventures along the way...

Candyfloss is a really good read as it expresses the feelings of the characters creatively.  As I read was reading I was kept on my toes, and couldn’t put the book down.  The exciting hook at the start made me want to read on and on.  I love Jacqueline Wilson’s style of writing - it is unique and so realistic that it makes you believe that you are in the story.

The cover of the book is really colourful and catches your eye as you walk past.  This is good as you want people to pick up the book and read it.

I have read many of Jacqueline Wilson’s books and this one is just as good, if not better than the others.  It has a gripping beginning, an exciting middle and a successful ending.  Candyfloss is a really interesting book to read and I would recommend it to any girl who is interested in reading.
