Thomas the Rhymer

Thomas Learmont (Laird of the Castle in Ercildoune in Berwickshire), loved books, poetry, nature and music. Most of all Thomas loved to study nature in the area around the castle. One May morning he left the castle to explore the Eildon Hills, he rested and fell asleep under a tree but was suddenly awakened by a fairy queen.
