The Soccer Machine
Harvey's team always loses. Professor Gertie, Harvey's neighbour, can't understand why. But the Bouncing Boots she invented were too bouncy, and the Smoke Machine she'd sewn into Harvey's shorts blew out so much smoke Harvey couldn't see the goal (luckily, he was wearing Fireproof Underpants!). This time, Professor Gertie thinks she has the perfect solution: Mark I, the Soccer Machine. He's got a metal body covered with Squidgy Skin, a top speed of 60 km/h, and he's programmed to win. Will it take a Soccer Machine to help The Team win at last?
The first title in this hilarious series. Written by David Bedford.
