The Guga Hunters
An account of the guga (or young gannet) hunters from Ness in the isle of Lewis who go out each year to bring back a harvest of birds from Sulasgeir, a rock some twenty miles from their homes. It also puts the hunt in an international and historic context, showing its connections both to such activities in the past and those undertaken in the Faroes and Iceland.
