This novel describes a life journey undertaken on the longest day of 2005 by Harris born former diplomat, Neil MacLeod. Through Neil’s thoughts, experiences and interactions with a range of characters in a variety of locations the complexity of  Gaelic cultural identity in post-war British society is deeply and rewardingly explored.
