A young Glasgow boy’s response to the death of his granny on the day before he’s due to go to France on a ski-ing holiday with his P7 class. Will his parents let him go, or will they make him attend the funeral in Uist with his sister? What would Granny want him to do? Anyway, isn’t it insensitive of him even to ask these questions?
