Marketing Materials

Scottish Book Trust provides a variety of free materials to support professionals and practitioners with the implementation, promotion and day-to-day running of their local Bookbug programmes.

All of these resources are currently provided directly to each Bookbug Coordinator on an annual basis, with stock delivery taking place in June. You can download and print some of the materials below by clicking on the highlighted headings, or download a list of all the promotional resources and ideas for using them here. Additional printed items are provided for Bookbug Week. These are delivered to Bookbug Coordinators in April.

If you are interested in receiving or borrowing any of these items, please contact your local coordinator directly. A list of local authority contacts can be found here.

Creating your own materials

Free posters and leaflets advertising the Bookbug programme are available from Scottish Book Trust through your local Bookbug Coordinator. However, if you wish to produce any printed or online marketing materials of your own, here are some tips that will help you produce items that look professional, are accessible and fit Bookbug's brand identity:

  • Use a clear font for accessibility. We would recommend Arial in font size 12 minimum.
  • When written, Bookbug should always have an initial capital letter and appear as one word. It should only ever be one single colour, preferably black or 638 C.

If you would like any further help with creating print or e-marketing materials, or to check any of your materials with us for our branding, please contact beth.crozier@scottishbooktrust.com .
