Enter Our Gemma Cairney Book Giveaway!
This year during Book Week Scotland, we’re incredibly lucky to be hosting Gemma Cairney for an author tour. Gemma has worked in radio for almost ten years and currently presents BBC Radio 1’s advice show, The Surgery. Gemma has also produced a number of documentaries tackling some of the issues facing young people today, including violent relationships. In 2015, she founded her own company which produces theatre, films and podcasts. Drawing on her experiences from The Surgery and the work she has done with young people, Gemma has now written her very first book, Open: A Toolkit for How Magic and Messed Up Life Can Be.
Gemma’s book is an insightful resource on how to make your way in the world and how to deal with the inevitable difficulties that come up along the way.
We’re really excited that Gemma will be a part of this year’s Book Week Scotland, and to celebrate our events with her, we’re giving away 3 hardback copies of Open. To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is answer the (massively difficult) question at the bottom of the page.
Gemma will be talking about her book at six events across Scotland during Book Week Scotland. If you’re interested in coming along to any of the stops then see our events page for more information.
