It Will Be All Write On The Night...

Monday 27th August 9pm–11pm

Unbound, The Guardian Spiegeltent, Edinburgh International Book Festival

This year, Scottish Book Trust will be bringing you a closing night spectacular at the Edinburgh International Book Festival's Unbound Programme, with Scottish writers and a Scotland wide audience coming together to create a storytelling experience with a difference.

We have tasked our New Writers Award winners George Anderson, Kirstin Innes and R.A Martens to write a new story especially for the event and we want the audience (that means you!) to inspire, challenge and infuriate them as they do!

This story will unfold online over 6 weeks prior to the event, with the audience providing prompts on twitter and Facebook. Each week we’ll ask for new prompts, as our writers create a new part of the story.

On the night, the writers will pull together the story so far and, using inspiration from the audience, they will create an ending.

Hosted by comedienne Sian Bevan with live performances from one of Scotland’s brightest new poetry stars William Letford and the multitalented Kirsty Logan, this is a night not to be missed!

The event is free and unticketed, and you can get involved online on Facebook or twitter and follow the story as it unfolds on Love to Read.

So here we go!
