 Bookbug Annual Conference 2012

Friday 9th March was the Bookbug Annual Conference at the Scottish Youth Theatre in Glasgow. This was a free event for all Bookbug Co-ordinators, Heads of Service, partners, stakeholders and anyone else who had an interest in the Bookbug programme.

We had a whole host of guest speakers including; Donna Bell from the Scottish Government, Naomi Eisenstadt, an early year’s expert well known for her inspiring presentations, and let’s not forget the Children’s Laureate, Julia Donaldson!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone for attending. We had a brilliant day and hope that you did too!

The Book Box Song

Julia Donaldson has very kindly written a brand new song for all Bookbug Session leaders. We hope that this will be included in Bookbug Sessions in libraries to encourage children and families to borrow books. We think it's great. Thanks, Julia!
