Stripy Horse, Time for Bed is another brilliant board book in the Stripy Horse series by the wonderful Jim Helmore. The book follows Stripy Horse throughout the day as he sings and dances and then prepares for bed and it’s a perfect board book that can be enjoyed anytime throughout the course of the day. 

Kathryn and I read the book several times over the weekend and she loved it more and more each time. There's plenty of actions and sound effects that you can include while sharing the book to encourage your child to join in and. Kathryn particularly enjoyed ‘clip clopping’ and stretching up high. So whether you’re preparing for bed, or just looking for some time to spend with your child, this is the perfect board book. You can enjoy this book anywhere too from beds to baths, there’s something for every little one during the day no matter if they’re ready to sleep or just waking up. Kathryn and I will definitely be sharing some more books in the Stripy Horse series next time I see her!
