Interview with Chae and Emily

We asked dazzling duo Chae Strathie and Emily Golden about their book the Fabulous Flapdoodles, working together and their favourite children's books.

Can you tell us a little about the Fabulous Flapdoodles?

Chae: The Fabulous Flapdoodles are tiny magic creatures who come out after dark to protect children from all of things that go bump the night. They zoom round your room upon brooms built for six, using their tricks, trances and spells to send ghosts, giants, hairy scaries and scary hairies scarpering into the night.

Emily: The Fabulous Flapdoodles is the second book that Chae and I have completed together. As soon as I got the text through I knew I was going to enjoy working on it - there were so many great characters to draw! They are very fabulous!
