Bookbug Day
Bookbug Day took place on
Thursday 19th May
with the theme of
The Great Outdoors!
Bookbug Day is over for another year but we really hope that you all had a fantastic time attending events in your local area! There were a whole host of free events running up and down Scotland on the 19th of May and we hope that you were able to join in the fun and help celebrate the first ever Bookbug Day.
We were delighted to attend the special flagship event at Eglinton Park in North Ayrshire with over 600 children and parents. Together, we attended Bookbug sessions, built dens, toasted marshmallows and enjoyed getting creative in the messy play area. You can see more of what we got up to in the pictures below. Don’t forget to send in your pictures and we’ll pop them up on the website too!

You can see more great photos from the event on our Facebook page too!
