I write fiction, memoir, songs and poetry and have worked in the academy and taught Creative Writing for many years, both in an academic setting but also in communities.
In 2019, I founded a small press, Seahorse Publications and work towards publishing those who may find it difficult to find an outlet.
As a musician for much of my life, I very much enjoy performing and encouraging others to do so. I have read my work at literary festivals and events across Scotland.
Another outlet for my work and other writers are events which I have been hosting/managing for twenty years and these have proved to be very successful, especially when liaising with writers/organisers/managers to grow their own projects.
