Jacqueline Wilson has been writing for children since 1973. She has written over 50 books for children and has won many prizes, including the Children's Book Award twice. Her books are loved by both boys and girls and regularly top both the bestseller lists and most borrowed lists from Libraries. Her signing queues are known for being lengthy, at the Edinburgh International Book Festival she once signed for 4 hours!
Between 2005-2007 Jacqueline held the prestigious Children’s Laureate post and she was the third Children’s Laureate that Author’s Live brought to you.
